It just seems so unfair for the family to have to suffer the loss of a loved one, but then wonder how they will support themselves on top of that. I have no doubt Tiger Nation will help if the NCAA allows them to do so. There is a way to set up up support fund that won't involve violations, it just has to be done carefully with oversight. It was very easy to donate to Blue's family fund once the NCAA approved it and I hope the same happens with this situation. Nick is so young to have gone through so much.

I played with nick for a year. Great kid and excited he's staying home at LSU. His brother seemed like a great guy and I'm going to pray for his family.

Can someone advise the family to start some type of crowd funding campaign online?

Not suggesting NCAA rules are violated, just suggesting people have an avenue to help this family with their health burdens.
