frick off. Excuse me for not knowing this was the first flyover in a very long time in BR and assuming the status quo had not changed regarding fly overs.

Yep. Heard them flying over my appartment on campus a little while ago. They're supposed to do a flyover right after the alma matter/national anthem. As someone who wants to a Navy F/A-18 pilot after after I graduate, I'm rather excited. Jet's are cool!

Does a flyover have some significance for fans? Why the high hopes and anticipation?

I'll never forget the flyover for lsu/Bama in 2005......we were in the upper deck sideline seats and the planes seemed at eye level. Probably one of the most incredible things I've ever seen.

The flyover is on the official times of interest schedule from LSU fwiw.

Also on the schedule...

12:35pm: The Golden Band from Tigerland marches down Victory Hill along with Mike VI (a live Tiger which decides if he's coming to the game or not)

Sense of humor?

The 4 A-10s in Fayetteville a couple years ago was pretty impressive.

definitely better than the pair of f-18's for the Idaho game

multi aircraft flyovers are fun too

I can certainly respect the adoration of mammoth b-52's as well

Multiple aircraft are really cool, so is the the B-52 or B-1. But IMHO nothing beats an A-10
