303 rushing yards on 51 carries

there were several times last night throughout the 15 total pass attempts that the O-line gave the QB at LEAST 5 seconds to throw the ball.

It seems like the O-line has actually gelled finally and are playing as a cohesive blocking unit. I know grimes has been criticized on here, but I think he simplified his system a good bit for the offensive line and they are executing his plan. either way, they looked great last night.

there was even a successful SCREEN pass executed

hopefully this is a consistent thing going forward into ole miss week

Unfortunately our starting QB still can't complete passes regularly even with that time.

he has to get better. I think he's afraid to pull the trigger for fear of making a mistake

The move of Pocic to guard seems to be huge

I agree. The O-line played much better last night

Then you must be bi-polar.

Or a really lonely little troll.

As good as Vadal is, he whiffed a few times badly. I'm just nitpicking at this point though, they are definitely gelling.

The hold called on La'el is how you get a hold. Straight up beat to the outside just tackled the guy.

Yeah that was a smart play IMO. Keep your qb from getting blindsided.

My main beef was with Porter.......I stated it objectively and got a private message from the admins. It was far from flaming and very disappointing they would take issue with it.

Porter was performing very poorly in the first half. He was playing flat-footed and whiffing on blitzes and stunts. He did get better in the second half.

In all seriousness Vadal is lazy and doesn't finish blocks but if you go back and watch that game how can u not see our Center not getting to the 2nd level and letting their LB's blast our RB's and failing on pass protection or getting pushed back time and time again... It is unexcusable he is still playing...

Whatever adjustment we made at halftime to the blcking scheme made a difference. Going to Magee at RB also helped too. Kentucky was not prepared for how quick he hit the hole and how fast he got through into the secondary.

that... and young/inexperienced WR's either not getting separation and/or not being where he expects them to be (not necessarily on the WR by the way). Think the two go hand in hand.

Yeah, porter is definitely the weakest link.
