No. He also shouldnt be the only one to go. Georgia was going through the same and they were able to keep it quit. They did it the RIGHT way.

Came across upset he had to be there saying what he did. Just terrible for LSU.
The guy tried to make a power move, had boosters on board and was shot down by Louisiana Politics.
He was pissed at that moment and rightfully so.

I couldn't care less either way, but my only problem with him was how he basically let LSU get burned in the media all week instead of squashing the rumors from the start.
I don't think they were all rumors. I think had the media not ran with this, Les would be gone and we'd have Jimbo. The media onslaught made the admin pull the plug.

I'd say Alleva is directly responsible for LSU losing the recruiting commitments. He obviously is not capable of handling things in a sure-handed way, which fed the whole shitshow. He looks incompetent and no recruits are attracted to incompetence.

Neither Alleva nor King call the shots for LSU athletics. Alleva is just the face of the department. LSU athletics is controlled by the TAF and it's primary boosters. Blame for this debacle needs to be placed on the people behind the scenes pulling Alleva's strings.
Your wrong. If the boosters had their way Les would be packing his shite up today. F. King Alexander caved to outside pressure and overruled Alleva.

I know he screwed it up, but I believe he was trying to do the best thing for LSU.

alleva needs to go. you have to know for sure where your boss is on this issue. also, if alexander pulled the plug on deal on wed. then why not go public then. alleva let this twist in the wind for too long. he damaged the university name and that is way more important than who the football coach is.

The only one they lost because of this was a 2017 commitment from Tennessee.....
Sometimes our fans are so ignorant and naive it boggles the mind how some can just post stuff without researching it a little.

Rutgers just cleaned house and fired the AD and the head football coach.
We should have done the same thing.
We should have done the same thing.
