Didn't see the game. Just box score. Not a bb expert...

Do his results today tie into pitching strategy/caliber opponent? Not showing much/More fastballs?

Poche allowed 1 earned run today. Defense let him down.

He only gives up 2 runs without the errors

The errors were sickening, for sure. Due to work and family and just life in general, that was the first game this year that I got to view in its entirety from beginning to end. So it was disheartening to see so many errors. Yet it was encouraging to see the offense get hot once it started clicking.

Then don't make a stupid fricking thread. Read articles about what actually happened in the game.

Cheer is being classy. I posted on Facebook that we haven't given up 5 errors since 2013 vs Sam Houston. Poche fricked somebody's girlfriend.

He pitched very well. 1 run. 8k.

Once it was obvious TSU was free swinging at anything remotely looking like a fastball over the plate...he became pretty effective. The defense on the other hand remained ineffective most of the game

The OP came here to ask a question. If that isn't what the Rant is for then we might as well shut this site down.

Noticed that there were several mishandled balls in outfield & throwing errors! Was there rain before the game so that when ball touched the grass, became wet & slippery?

Only allowed 1 earned run. The main thing I saw was, especially early in the game, the home plate ump's strike zone was WAY up, belt to chest. When you have to throw the pitch so far up in the strike zone just to get a called strike, you're gonna get smashed pretty good, even by mediocre hitters. The strike zone improved some as the game progressed but not by much.
