Best pitching performance from any pitcher this year by far. Dominated.

Deichmann 9-15(.600) 3Hrs 10 RBIs, might have a case.

Ah, you're right. Kept thinking he came in the 4th. Not 3rd.

That would make it 16 straight

He has my vote. The coaching staff has done a heck of a job on Deichmann and Reid.

that mofo was dealin'! when PM put Newman in I was fit to be tied. I always say when a guy is dealing leave him in there. I was wrong.

Poche was one hit away from a literal perfect game for what 6 innings on short rest to even give us the opportunity in this elimination game. He was perfect.. and he helped us win another crucial game.

He still gets MVP, in my opinion for this. I appreciate Deichmann, his grand slam was misplayed though ( i still appreciate his RBI's and other homers lately), his defense was kind of bad at times though and helped Rice rally yesterday when if he just knocked the ball down and got one out we could have been out the inning yesterday before the serious damage. You really can't go wrong with either though, but Poche being perfect today made the victory today possible and that slightly narrows it for me. He shut down a Rice offense that was on a tear of late..
