Poaching coaches

If this comes to pass with Jimbo as has been alluded to, what would be the closest similar situation with a top level program coach leaving to go directly to another that has occurred recently (or heck even in the past)? I recall Obrien leaving BC for NC State, Bielema situation, Sarkisan etc. would this be one of the biggest poaches in recent memory?

Les miles from OK St. Not as big but it was "poaching"

No poaching needed. There's going to be a head coach available in the area...familiar with LA high schools, especially in the NO area...prior coaching experience in the NFL. We could probably get Curtis Jihnson cheap as soon as Tulane fires him. Just saying...for all you who think we fire Les Miles and the world is lining up to take it. Not likely...sorry to burst that fantasy bubble...

I can't either. And think that is what has the outside media and others ruled up. LSU is about to pluck a coach from one of their media darlings and they refuse to believe it. USC, BAMA, maybe but not LSU! Think this not only gets us a top coach but also opens eyes nationally!!
