Please stop saying all Les needs is an OC with 100% control

I am so sick and tired of hearing people that say all Les needs is a good OC who he gives 100% control and ownership of the offense to. Have you people not watched LSU's offense for the last several years? Different OC's, same out of date, vanilla, inept, undisciplined, disorganized offense.

Crowton's offense was different than Cam's. Just fundamnetally.
you don't know shite for a head coach.

And Les Miles panicked after 2008 and stripped away the autonomy of the offense. He never let go after that.

Yes you are right, it was different fundamentally, but the bottom line is Les had his hand in the play calling. I know from former players who played during that time, and know from current LSU players that he has a big hand in their offense right now. Cam's hire was about getting a buddy a "yes man" for Les, so he could have control.

Your post makes no sense at all.
Wouldn't this actually point to heavy involvement by Les in the offense?? Even players have stated this is the case.

You just made everyone's point.
Let's do the math...
Different OC's + same offense OVER and OVER and OVER = HC running the offense and not the OCs.
I can give the D a pass this year. New coaches. Lots of youth, injuries, on the field trying to bail the O all night. But with the "best O-line" in the SEC and a Heisman caliber RB, it all points to Leslie.

What is your argument here??
If you gave Les an OC with 100% control then Les wouldn't have his hand in the play calling now would he?

Gary Crowton could have called every play and no one would know the fricking difference.
Crowton is a garbage coordinator.
And KragStud was a mess too.

CatMan88 did you not read my post? I think we are agreeing.....

I think you have have a typo somewhere then.
How does this equate to; If LSU had an OC with total control then Les would have no hand in calls or scheme and the offense would be different?

Can someone tell me how this offense is different from 2013? Schematically speaking. Could it be that the players are not executing the gameplan/plays? Id love to hear tRANTs opinion on this

Maybe you just misread because you are arguing the same thing he is

CatMan88 I am saying that "I am sick and tired of those who believe that by giving Les an OC who has complete control would change anything". I believe that by doing that, you're just repeating history because we all know Les is stuck in his 1970's ways and will not give total ownership of the offense. Sorry for the confusion.
