I've been waiting on LSU/BYU for months. Will this game be played Saturday?

I don't see how Houston happens. Weather is not ideal for BR.

Come on man. No one really knows. It's not a conference game. IF and when the decision is made it cannot be played in Houston, BYU and LSU and the TV folks would have to agree on a time/place.

Even assuming all involved want it played, agreement on where, when isn't easy. Just look at the Florida deal last year.

It's hard.

Don't know if the game will be played but NRG is more than just the current football stadium.... Staging could be in the astrodome, the convention center on location or the parking lots. They are most likely staging in the convention center that is on location...

Probably not going to happen. We expecting a ton of rain toward the middle of next week but who knows. Move it to Provo with a return visit in a couple years.

You cannot get to NRG right now. And we expect 12-24 more inches of rain.

The city will be paralyzed for awhile.

It would be a rain game. Our weather people are saying Harvey will be here in Shreveport on Friday/Saturday.

More insightful than you may think.

Florida was difficult, because Florida didn't want to play. If BYU, LSU, TV, and the money sources want the game played they will play somewhere. BYU, LSU, Super Dome, or a high school stadium in Little Rock.

Superdome or Jerryworld on Monday would be my guess. BYU won't play on Sunday, so that adds another element to trying to reschedule.
