I would rather Auburn lose to someone else and beat Bama at this point.

Well they aren't losing to Georgia, so better hope Ole Miss beats them.

Oklahoma already has 2 losses and still plays WV and Baylor yet they haven't lost a conf. game yet. I'd say they are in the drivers seat to win the Big 12

WV is in the driver's seat, not OU. WV is the better team, and their game is in Morgantown. Not saying OU can't win, but it will be tough.

Please... Have you seen who they've played? West Virginia and Baylor both are paper tigers. Their out of conference schedules are a freaking joke, and the Big 12 is even weaker this year than last.

We are assuming we win out, just like we are assuming auburn loses. I think they lose this weekend. We shall see.

A 2 loss sec champion is going over a 1 loss big 12 team. Quit worrying about it. If LSU wins out, imagine the storyline under O. Undefeated, totally different team, definitely one of the top 4 teams in the country. Hell, they are 7th currently in odds to win the NC. The only thing that keeps them out is auburn running the table. The real question becomes what other one loss champion does bama take a spot from....and guess who LSU plays in the first round.

If LSU wins out, they're in. It's just that simple.

If LSU wins out and wins the SEC title game they still could be left out with BAMA having one loss

Not sure if we get ranked higher than BAMA if we beat them next week.

If LSU is the conference champion, plus has the win over Bama, they're in. Bama could get in as well, but would need help.

Good to at least still be having this conversation after the way the season started. LSU is playing as well as anyone in the country right now. Just need to take 'em one at a time. Beating Alabama would be a great start! Geaux Tigers!

Can somebody explain to me why Oklahoma winning out would be a factor? If it's about ensuring Baylor and WVU drop one, I wouldn't worry about it. The Big 12 is bad enough this year that a two-loss SEC champion that beat 11 - 1 Alabama would go over an undefeated Big 12 champ. That's only because OU blew their OOC games against good opponents and Texas imploded though. I just don't see them having a shot at it
