I heard from a friend on the team that before the game the players found out that Alabama had spent part of the week working on Auburn. This pissed off the players and added fire to an already fired group of players. Do you agree with Saban looking a head to Auburn, a game still three weeks away.

If that's what he was doing...he's not as smart as most give him credit for...

I'm going to have to call Bull shite on that. The Bama players may have but I would be shocked to learn Nick Saban had anything on his mind but beating LSU.

They had two weeks.......but i find it very hard to believe that they didn't prepare for LSU more than anything else.

Either way.....we were ready to play

It should have taken them about 2 days to prepare for the offense we had been running the last 2 years.

Unless he was lying, I heard this directly from a friend that is on the team.

Just because the team heard that somehow doesn't make it true.

I don't care though. True or not. If it fired them up great.

Hell, if I were Miles I would have made that shite up even if it weren't true. But I would have livened the story up a bit more than that.

coaches will do that during a bye week, 2 weeks is too long to prepare for one team,so they will add packages, work on other things to keep a teams focus at practice.take the saints they will take time off install a few things prolly for atlanta then go back to their regular game week prep. for the seahawks.nothing unusual.

what's unusual is Saban's record after a bye week is pretty lousy compared to his record with no bye

Maybe it's being thrown out of the regular season routine or maybe it's not being 100% focused on the next game? Dunno
