There were a lot of bad tackling and regardless of Miles screw ups receivers must go out of bounds with less than a minute left instead of trying to gain a few more yards.

Most players will execute the plan and situational training provided by the coaches. I think it is pretty rare that a player just totally does the wrong thing in a situation. It happens, but something like simply getting out of bounds during a 2-minute offense is rare. When you see it occur for other teams, players and coaches react to it negatively... even the player who makes the mistake realizes and gets a look of disappointment. but for LSU it seems to occur a lot and everyone looks oblivious.

It's all on situational coaching IMHO.

Did it look like LSU had a clue what to do in a two minute drill?

That's coaching.

The players looked lost no doubt. But God damn, you shouldn't have to teach players to get out of bounds. That's jr high football.

Auburn had 388 yards and 18 points. That should be enough for the offense to overcome.
