Player ready for breakout this year DT Ego Ferguson

I think Ego Ferguson is going to come into his own and be solid at the DT position
You could see glimpses last year in his limited playing time.
He will be counted on a lot more this year.

I called Brockers last year. I should look that up and bump that thread.
I know Minter was a starter last year but you seldom heard his name or he didn't have much "star power."

i agree with this but id go with Barrow or Muncie which ever one gets the starting spot...also someone could make a good argument about the FREAK

I definitely agree with Rasco. He looked very good in the games he got to play in. If Minter and Ego can step up too, this defense could be better than last year's.

I really like the idea of Johnson, Ferguson, and Logan. I think they wreck shop this year.

Yes he did, and we have shown the ability to get our guys plenty of snaps even if they arent starting...he will have an impact.

ego will be a good third man in rotation with freak and logan. he looks awesome in big cat. He pretty much dominates everyone. He looks bigger and stronger. I think the guy will own bitches this year

Minter was easily our best LB the 2nd half of last season. The guy is already legit. He will just finally become known to the media and non-hardcore fans.

Along that same line, I think there are tons of guys who could bust out on the Defensive Line (Johnson, Ego, Freak), but I think the guy that will attract the most attention for his play will be Benson Logan. Guy is so explosive. He will launch himself over or through players to make tackles. I believe he forced a fumble doing just that in the Georgia game if I'm not mistaken. Guy has serious tools and non-LSU people just don't know what he's all about.

Even with brockers gone, its hard to imagine we will see a drop off at the dt position. Logan, freak, ego, downs. Solid 4 man rotation.

Too late, Prom. Minter broke out at the end of last year. I don't think calling Minter, Rasco, or Freak is going out on a limb. Now, if someone calls Barrow or someone like that, I call that a stretch and would give credit if it comes true. If you called Brockers to be all SEC level then...
