Not looking like a real strength so far this year... ERA is up considerably from last year, Lange seems to be struggling a bit with consistently and the bullpen is a complete mystery. Bugg, Bain, Stallings, and Reynolds are not dependable so far, which isn't good heading into the first week of conference. Valek, and Gilbert are the bright spots so far and poche has been steady

Pitching staffs take time to develop. They will be fine by the end of the year.

Got some tough series early, hopefully they can make a late season run

We'll win enough games to host a regional. By that time the experimentation will be long over. Newman will be setup, Gilbert will be the closer. We'll have three good starters. Long relief will be provided by whomever gets steady out of Bain, Norman, Reynolds and Bugg. Hopefully Stallings will give us a second setup/closer. I think it will work out.

I think Newman and Gilbert are pretty steady. Bugg needs more time.

Thought bain looked good today, just a couple bloopers fell in on him.
