24 points to Miss. St., who only scored zero and 7 to Auburn and Ga. Tech the previous 2 weeks.

If the defense doesn't get better fast, we'll lose a few this year.

Let's discuss.

Come on man. Don't you think that's just a little extreme?

We didn't show everything we had
we barely blitzed and few to none D line stunts

Giving up 24 points to sorry Miss. St. offense is extreme.

This is unbelievable to me. Just give it a rest. You don't know what you're talking about and all this shite just gets old after a while.

Is losing a "few" games really that bad? How many seasons did Saban lose less than a few games at LSU? Terrible post.

You ever stopped to think that maybe, just maybe, MSU offense played their best inspired game of the year while LSU defense played their worst, most uninspired game of the year?

nine of the top 25 lost last weekend. As one analyst said "college football is looking more and more like the nfl." Parity is here. Anything can happen on Saturday. That is why we love college football.

We are undefeated, so can't complain too bad. However, I did note the one time we rushed 3 men, State completed a long pass. Rushing 3 is simply unacceptable with our young safeties. With the standard 4 man rush, we still seem to give too much slack on the receivers. Glad we have 2 weeks to get ready for Florida!!

God, I didn't know my fellow LSU tigers fans are so stupid,

MSU had nothing to lose coming into the game, they are now playing spoiler for the rest of the yr, so expect them to play well from here on out,

PLUS they started a new RUNNING qb, was LSU expecting that?? I was expecting to see Carroll.

The defense will be fine.

Don't forget we also had two starters go down on the line. I think that played somewhat of a role too. Bottomline is that LSU came out stale from the opening kickoff. But, came out on top. Like you said, thank God for the bye.

Except that, as DC, Lou Tepper only presided over 7 victories (and only 3 conference victories) in 2 seasons at LSU. So, you take the position that the current incarnation of the two-headed monster Co-DCs, will win only 3 more games over the rest of this season and next (and only one more SEC victory)?

Remember Tulane gave Bama all they could handle.
Now Bama is unstopable. They said the same thing in Los Angeles a couple of weeks ago. It's going to be a crazy year!!

Very extreme view. We had a pumped MSU team and we were not pumped. Overall yardage allowed was pretty good considering they played it like it was their whole season and we played like we didn't want to over exert ourselves.

This shite drives me crazy. How is it that LSU fans see everything through the lenses of the team's prior coaching successes and failures? Every defensive mishap turns our coordinators into Lou Tepper. Remember the Tennesee game in 2006? Supposedly we stopped blitzing, and Coach Pelini was a Tepperesque defensive moron.

Has it ever occured to you that factors besides coaching bear on the outcome of a given game? That players make mistakes and opponents sometimes overachieve? That teams don't always cover the spread? And that sometimes upsets happen?

Mississippi State played better offensively than they have all year. They brought in a new quarterback, who played very well. Our freshman quarterback threw a pic, and on the next series we fumbled, giving MSU a short field. Plus our defense is banged up and our secondary is young. It's not always about coaching or the scheme.

Enjoy that your team is 4-0, ranked in the top 10, and that it controls its own destiny as it has for the last several years. We are the envy of the college football world, and you're lining up to jump off the Mississippi River Bridge. Just relax.
