Les calls it the Invest 99-L model runs on 3.

Thank god.
This is my dream formation and I didn't think it would ever come true.

I wonder how much of an impact Aranda has had on our offensive coaches?
I wonder this too (probably in a different way than you). I wonder if our O having to go against Aranda's defense hasn't resulted in plays designed to attack that kind of D; ie, NEW PLAYS, plays that we can use against teams that shut our run game down (or significantly slow it down). our O is practicing against his D every day and if we have to learn to move the ball against it.

If not directly, t seems like his seemingly more intellectual approach would have to rub off a little, no?
this concept is a stretch imo.

I just said this exact play yesterday. It would work well and looking back at last years auburn game I like what we did in that game idk why we got away from all the creativity we had in that game.
It was almost like we were giving Auburn a taste of their own medicine in that game and then just quit the rest of the way. Some of that play calling and execution was beautiful.

Delahoussaye off right tackle for big yards. Nobody will see it coming.

I love the kid, I'm just saying a solid effort from the QB spot would work WONDERS for the offense. Any threat at all that could get the defense off the LOS and let Fournette get a head of steam up...

Don't get me all excited just to see BH get sacked while trying to decide where to go with the ball......I kid, I kid. I'd give my left nut to see us running stuff like this. I really think Harris lights it up this year. He goes for at least 2,800 yards. Book it.

If Harris can make the right reads, calmly make decisions, and deliver the ball accurately, that play alone could give defenses fits all year.
That's the $50,000 question Jimmy!

We already ran this damn play. Jesus why is everybody freaking out saying it will never happen. See last year McNeese Game. WR missed the block and it got blown up.
Hopefully we will see more out of this formation though with 2 wr and a TE. and actually use the TE.

it has to at least make the offense consider different looks to counter the defense.
You sure about that?
One can hope!

The fact that they're even practicing this formation is good enough for me. The hope that we implement this at some point will suffice until it happens in a game.

It's called the wishbone formation and it has been around forever. Rich Rodriguez ran the wishbone when he was the Tulane offensive coordinator in 1997 and 1998. Tulane went 12-0 in 1998 running almost every play out of that formation. Fast paced because the lineup is always the same. No one can tell what is coming based upon formation. It's value is when it is used for the majority of plays. We won't see a true wishbone attack, but we could see some plays run out of that formation.

Man...we are starved for innovation. Let me see what other play I can make up.

So much bs I don't know where to begin.
