Another budget crisis shocker in Louisiana. I predict the Governor will be out of a job before they ever affect LSU Football.

LSU football operations is self-funding except for a portion of coaches salaries and support staff. He's not saying he is taking away football. He's saying no LSU, no LSU football.

It's slimy rhetoric.

I guess he felt a message of "Kids might not be able to get their education" wouldn't get enough get folks worked up, but "There might not be a football season" would.

It is preamble for tax hikes.

To all of you who think amending the Constitution is a solution, how is that going to provide funding where there is none? All that does is change the rules to allow cuts to this or that sector (health care and education are the only areas currently open to cuts)...

that amendment does nothing to raise revenues or provide money to pay teachers. Our pockets are empty, what's coming earmarked to pay teachers less than that is going out. If it is a problem now, it's still going to be a problem in 2016 at these oil prices.

Teachers and administrators are not going to keep going to school and be paid for in your prayers, now are they???

There isn't a one step solution.

Amending the Constitution is just one

Is he legally allowed to?

Why don't you tell me what you know about the saints subsidies and how it's a net negative for Louisiana tax payers.
