I would expect him to. Craig was great on roll outs back in the day, and it has it's benefits for play setups later in the game. Just need your WRs coached up and a QB who can see the field, or half of it in 3D.

What I want, and expect Craig to play a big part in is in "hot" plays. Not audibles, but if need to run a play due to either clock, play or game, QB can call at line and does not have to wait on a sideline call.

Hopefully we start seeing better audibles too, but damn we shouldn't have to wait on the sideline to call a bread-and-butter play. As long as those bread and butter plays can be taught to run out of all base formations and ALL personnel can know their assignment out of any formation, then it should be feasible fairly quickly (within next 3 games?).

I've never had a problem with playcalling, I've always bitched about the inability to run those plays out of multiple formations consistently. Yes, some just don't work out of the wrong formation. But some can be. Take the hated toss-dive. You don't have to be in the I formation; you can put the FB in motion to get him into position (or decoy) and run the same play.
