Pretty sure offense has been fine since CEO took over.
One more game isn't going to matter.

Has 6 weeks to recruit after bowl game and name a OC.

Why? He either has his man or not. If not, lord help him. At this point I don't see the reason for waiting to announce unless he's is waiting to see if Kiffin gets a head coaching gig.

I'm sure you have had many years of experience in hiring executive talent. But just in case you haven't please consider this: the new guy just might have commitments with his current team and revealing his move might not be a good idea right now.

After all even Chief waited util after he tanked the bowl game before the information was made public.

Sorry if I ruined your panic attack. Carry on.

Like who and what? If this were a head coach, I agree. Assistant coaches move around all the time. It's not that big deal anymore.

I'm not panicked, but O will be if his line comes up empty after the bowls.

Regardless the reasons, this isn't good for recruiting. And if it's Kiffin, saban will screw us if he has a chance

Offense was fine vs Florida.
Lack of player execution killed that, not scheme or coaching.

So one game we didn't produce.
Vs best defense in the country.
Boo fricking hoo.

I think he had a plan in his head but it lacked substance...basically, not a plan but a wish or daydream based on purely anecdotal "evidence".

There is no discernable difference in the potential of LSU and Alabama, Michigan or Ohio State programatically.

The difference is the leadership. This leadership hired O. Not Os fault.

There is a very obvious difference in O and the coaches at other similar programs. Hell, not one other SEC school would have hired him as HC.

This is lack of preparation and understanding of highend leadership versus average leadership.

There is no "plan". There are hopes and wishes.

People are concerned about recruiting. Cam Akers is an early enrollee for instance...and a generational player. We may miss on him due to this ineptitude.

Um well when the HC hire was completely reliant on him getting a good OC I would have liked to have thought they'd already had who the OC would be in mind.

As has been said repeatedly, SE has let it be known he does not want the OC position at this point in his career. Too much time away from his family as he was putting in long hours since taking over. And he knows taking it full time will require even more long hours.

How sis you do it when you were Head Coach. Did you wait until the assistants season was over before you made the announcement or prior to their bowl games.

Don't assistant coaches contracts run until after the season?
