If anything, Les stays for another year just to lessen the buyout penalty on the LSU administration as a whole. After all in theory they should be a college first that focus on academia and collegiate sport secondary.
He'll be Jim Tressel of the SEC, Won one Natty, Lost humiliatingly at another and never got to another nat after that...
Beside, I don't think he leaves until Forunette does but we would be thin for a few years at least.

So if anything, you think nothing.
With the damage done already, for Miles to stay and have it not completely kill recruiting he would need an extension to show the recruits that the university, TAF and the Board stand behind him.
So, now I ask what has a greater chance, a Miles extension or termination/resignation?

He gone bro.
And $15m now or $13m next year. Still gonna have to pay him a ridiculous amount next year too. And it's not LSU that pays him, it's TAF. Big difference

It's not his choice man.

Glad you just woke up Rip Van Winkle.
He is gone. No way he can be retained after all this. What don't ppl get about that? And I've not wanted him gone, but it's over. Accept it and stop posting these stupid he's not gone threads

HIs legs have been cut out from under him already by all this. He has to be gone and we have to already have a coach pretty much in place or we got some stupid mofos in charge of this situation

I just posted in another thread that the only way miles can stay at this point is if the board fires aleva and states that miles is their man for the foreseeable future. He would then have to make changes to the staff and we would have miles for another 2-3 years

exactly. To me the smart thing would have been to squash this right from the start. Give him another year. Let him pull what all indications are a very very strong recruiting class. Let him try to bring in someone who can get a bead on the offense poor execution, poor discipline, and poor scheme and instead scheme to the players strengths. Dump Pevoto, etc.
But that ship has way sailed now

Perhaps if some people listened more than talk they could hear the silence and then have their answer.
