It's reasonable to draw some conclusions after 21 games...hitting and scoring runs need to improve regardless of the opposing pitcher....not like they were lighting up the scoreboard during the weak non-conf schedule.

At this point I don't think we make Omaha. Faced good opponents 4x and are 1-3. Doesn't mean we won't get better.

Vandy has one of the best staffs in the country, we put up 10 runs against them, not great but not bad.

Played UL for 5 innings
played against a great candy team on the road. LSU can still make omaha.
If Bouman and Poche pan out to be the great pitches we expect we will have 3 solid starts come post season time. That will bode really well for us.

Our hitting sucked in all 4 games...with hitting like that we wouldn't stand a chance in Omaha anyway...see last year
