This is the issue. I love the guy and still want him involved at LSU in some way, but in terms of the football program, he has grown stale and new blood is needed badly.

I can't believe a decision was made literally moments after an emotional game. This entire circus has fricked with this programs image nationally

Why do people continue to think we will get better if we hire a new Offensive coordinator, we have been through many coordinators all with the exact same outcome. Its not just the offense that is an issue. Having Steele in charge of D will hurt us badly. Special teams has been horrible as well. Sure we played well against a shitty A&M offense and defense but last night made it clear we are accepting mediocrity

I think a HUGE mistake was made last night, now we are dealing with most likely a 9-3 or 8-4 type year next year. Recruiting will definitely take a hit due to uncertainty of Les's future. Waiting an extra year is going to put us in a much deeper hole.

Unless Les makes a major changes, this program is F'd in many ways.

Alleva needs to frickn go now!

Everything you said is spot on... I hope all these Les Miles worshipping lunatics will be happy with chicken bowls, Belk bowls, and toys r us bowls cause that's the best we are getting for years to come... Mediocrity is a wonderful thing to some fans apparently.

The dude has more than 100 wins at LSU. I think that we should be appreciative of his efforts and willingness to coach us.

I am very appreciative for all he has done but that doesn't mean we owe it to him to keep him forever. A lot of his success was early on and now that magic is gone. I'm sorry but it is. Other then 2011, which I will give completely credit to him, we have been horrible in general with Les in charge

Exactly... that's why them clueless bastards was the main ones pushing for Les Miles to keep his job and Alleva listened of course... Can't have LSU being successful.

But it is true. I mean, how can it not be true when people are holding signs that say "LES MILES IS LSU"

Come the frick on. I'm pretty sure we had another successful coach that now coaches for someone else and mushroom stamps Miles every time he plays him.

Many with Saban's players.

Plus, it's about what you're going to do in the future, not what you've done. THis is a business.

Horrible? Really?

Maybe LSU and Texas can do a head coach swap so you can see what horrible really is.

It isn't 8-3.

Why do you accept 8-3 with 3 straight blowout losses where LSU gets totally out coached and manhandled?

Miles said it himself at the the presser after the game, if a game hadn't been canceled we could have won 10 Games. He's playing for 10 wins while guys like B Kelly at Notre Dame have 10 wins and it doesn't mean anything it's ABOUT Championship's. And the guy on SEC Network after Miles said we don't need an offensive overhaul at the presser ,HE LOOKED AT BOOGER Mc and said now I know what you mean stubborn. MEDIOCRITY IS WHAT OUR MILES LOVING FANS WANT AND it's here as long as Miles. and that's what separates us from the Ohio St's and Bamas

I don't give a shite about Miles. I thought he should have been fired.

But this "people love Les more than LSU" line that y'all have been running with isn't based on reality.

People can think Miles should stay for many reasons. Doesn't mean they "love Les more than LSU"

Its a dumb statement
