For anybody interested in bowl payouts...

LSU is in the highest paying bowl outside of the playoffs, for what it's worth...

Not true. Orange, Cotton, Sugar & Rose all pay more. They are not part of the playoffs this year. The only bowls part of the playoff this year are Fiesta and Peach.

They are missing one....The Cosmopolitan Bowl was played a single time in 1951 and was held in Alexandria, LA.

All the Bowl Money goes to the SEC to be split up later.

All that money goes to the SEC office minus travel expenses.

Not everyone gets the same amount, each team is allowed to keep an amount dependent on the bowl's payout. Everybowl team gets to keep $1 million, however that could double depending on the bowl game's payout. For example, last year's payout difference between Alabama and Auburn was $3 million.

All bowl money goes to the SEC for revenue sharing...FWIW

including playoff money.
