No. I want to talk about how our college baseball coach is childish. No reason for his players to see him in disgust when they throw a 1st pitch ball...that's middle school dad shite man.

exactly. You don't have to win it everytime. That's impossible. But I just want to see the same team we've seen all season.

I believe that since 07 we are like 7-8 in college world series games. Perhaps not the best of records, but hardly does that equate to being blown out. imo

2008: 1-2
2009: 5-1
2013: 0-2
2015: 1-2

I think those are the records. So yes. 3 times we've done shite. 2008 was the only one where we probably weren't even supposed to be there.

We play tight in the postseason every year.

That 2008 team caught fire like no other. What was it like 24 straight wins during SEC play?

That team should have gone 0-2. Took a miracle comeback to avoid it.

But when you can point to specific instances during the CWS where poor coaching PREVENTED us from winning a ballgame, there's a problem.

I can't deny his very questionable pitching decisions, but the lack of hitting is what prevented the team from being successful. The laughable pitching changes were magnified by the lack of hitting. LSU's weaknesses were exploited and their strengths were nullified.

He didn't have near the talent from top to bottom that other teams had from that era.

just stop. yes, a lot of lesser talented players contributed, but skip had A LOT of players play in the major leagues. and that wasn't just him developing average players into major league caliber players

To get manhandled by a good (not great) TCU team not once but twice is unacceptable.

our 2009 team got swept by Tennessee. We lost a series this year to Kentucky, at home. It happens. And TCU was a national seed for a reason.

Why are LSU fans a-holes to their own teams and coaches?

We were down three runs in the 9th. It took a miracle finish to win. Saying we should have lost means I'm being an a-hole to the team?

Goodness another tree shaker wake up something is seriously wrong when a team excels all season long and just dies in the post season, first it's pitching then hitting then it's bad breaks,or getting beat by a better team, bull it all comes down to coaching.

I, for one, would like to see CPM disposed of from this University. Sick of his childish antics in the dugout ON NATIONAL TELEVISION

I didn't deny that. My point is that Skip got the best out of them regardless of their talent. And he often beat much more talented teams because of it.

there were very rarely that many more talented teams than his, and certainly very very few much more talented teams

We are talking about Talent. Until 1997, Skip didn't have near the top to bottom talent other teams had... Or that we can get now. We relied on "nobodies" and walk ons just as much as the Todd Walkers. Big hits... Big pitches came from everywhere.

You can make up whatever revisionist history you want to make Skip's teams seem more talented than they were. I understand it's tough as an LSU fan.
