Really light into this team. Obviously I don't know his demeanor in the locker room but he seems like a very laid back soft-spoken guy. Perhaps a real tongue lashing from a guy like that would wake the team up and maybe light a spark
for them to go on a run. I'll provide an example.

Ok pussies! I'm about sick and fricking tired of watching you come out here week in and week out and get your asses handed to by teams you are equal to or better than. There is absolutely no excuse for a team as good as u to be continually dominated. Somewhere in the last month u guys lost your sacs. So those of u who want to find them and let's go make a run to Omaha and kick the shite out of any team in our way ill see u at the park on Tuesday to beat tulane's arse. Those of u who don't can put on your skirts and watch the rest of us from home.

I think this team has just lost confidence and just laying a good arse whippin on someone might just get their confidence back and I couldn't think of a better opponent than tulane.

Gonna get rained out tom. Or I would say we start tom.

Does he hold up a little purple sign that says " geaux tigers" after he does all this too?

I've always heard the impression he gives in public and with the media is very different than what he is like around the team. I'm sure they've already had a lashing.

Nah. We will leave that to the guys in the skirts....

But seriously its just so mental right now that that's what needs to be challenged and focused on right now to make a run. I mean its not like just every pitcher we have sucks. Though I'm sure many believe that. It's just getting them in the mindset and getting them the confidence to know they can get people out rather than just hope to get people out.

Whose to say he hasn't told them anything like this already? Maybe it just had no affect.

I never jump off of LSU's bandwagon but that doesn't always mean ill be pleased with their performance. I still and will always watch or listen to every game hoping for a tiger victory. Just saying I think all the tinkering with the lineup and starting pitching is done. He tried it it didn't work. I just think its a mental thing they need to get past.

You know at some point that just doesn't work. I used to coach baseball for at an all-star youth level (and I know not exactly the NCAA) but if you have a group with no heart and fire you can scream until you're blood red in the face and it won't help you.

The only leader I see on this team currently is Mahtook and he has even looked down recently.
