Having met him when I was a student and he was coach and then having talked to him several times after he returned to Baton Rouge, I can only say he was a classy gentleman.

This was a tough thing to be the first thing I saw on TD today. We lost a legend.

Condolences to the Dietzel family, may he rest in peace. Thank you Paul for all that you did for LSU and everyone associated it. You will be missed.
