Parking at Student Union lot (question)

My dad has severe knee problems and i usually just drop him off close to the stadium then go park in BFE. I noticed during the Towson game the main lot at the Union bldg was wide open. Is this usually the case and can you just park there for the entire game/day? I noticed the gates were open all day to that lot. Could be due to the weather and opponent it was emptier than usual. Any help on this is appreciated. Thanks.

you can park there. it's $40 to get on that side of highland. honestly it's worth it if he has trouble walking.
