This would be huge if he can keep this up. He's a prototype catcher and seems so comfortable behind the plate but always seems to underperform with the bat. Hoping this is his year.

Link?

There were some threads about Duplantis earlier this week after his 0-fer weekend, but he's out of the slump. I still think he's being too aggressive trying to force things, but he's making much better contact.

I honestly have been pleasantly surprised with Bryce and Brennan. I figured Bryce would be his typical self, SO or HR.

Brennan looks to be pushing Beau out of RF as well. I would enjoy a faster outfielder myself.

Deichmann is good at slugging percentage.

He's only had 10 at bats...That's like saying Kramer is going to hit .500 this year.

Going from the right side exclusively was a great move.

I would be happy if he could hit .275 this year.

My apologies. I meant Duplantis. 4 hits over the last 2 games.

Adams is gonna struggle due to his long extended swing.Pitchers are gonna throw in to him and he can't get the barrel of the bat on the ball. Jordan will also struggle b/c SEC teams know he is a fastball hitter and chases off speed pitches, even ones that bounce in front of the plate.Just my opinion and I hope I'm wrong. We need both those guys to contribute.

Hate to say it but I agree. Adams doesn't have a base hit swing. He's looking for extra bases every hack he takes. That will only get you so far. I see maybe Beau or Romero sliding into the DH role

We've gotta get BJ out of left field. Liability in all three phases of the game. He got doubled up last night on a chopper in the hole that half of our team would have beat out if the only throw would have been to first.

Pap is the best catcher they have and you can tell early the pitchers are comfortable with him behind the plate.

I'm sure PM loved his opposite field single last night on the hit and run. That's all he has to do when called upon to execute it.

Agree with this. Pitchers are comfortable with him. If he hits .265 there is a ton of value. No catcher hits .400. Too much stress on their position on defense. That's insane to even suggest. Value is in making pitchers comfortable and trusting him.

I agree with this. I also agree with Erin Go Bragh's comment:

He hit .242 last year. OB% was .358. That's respectable... In comparison, Deichmann's 2016 OB% was .346.
