Martin is 4th in minutes in the SEC. Hornsby is 5th. Mickey is 7th. TQ is 9th.

That's 4 guys in the top 10 in minutes played in the SEC. No other team has more than 1.

Our lack of depth is killing our players and they are exhausted. It's a big reason why we've been flat IMO. They are just dog tired and are making more mistakes than we usually do.

That, along with coaching, is really hurting us.

Coaching is the main problem. Actually no it's the lack of coaching.

It was CJJ's job to put together a bench.

We needed quality guys to contribute right away after what we lost last year, instead CJJ brings in projects like Elbert and Epps, to go along with more projects like Odo and Malone. Complete joke.

If you think we lost because we are worn out with 4 days rest, I dont want to know what the score will be against one of the most talented teams ever with their third game in 6 days

I agree...there should be zero talk of making the tourney. Not enough horses in the stable this year

He's got depth he's just completely clueless on how to utilize what he has. He doesn't have the 7 scholarship players excuse. He's got a full roster and doesn't play any of them.

He's got a 7 man rotation and all he rotates is the guards. The forwards, which he has 9 of, he plays 2 of them.

Agree. They looked exhausted at MSU over the weekend and looked tired and unfocused again tonight.

They also had a very poor shooting night. Tired legs certainly contribute to bad shots.

Duke plays with a 8 man rotation, not that much of a difference

This is not a "team". It's a group of basketball players that have no cohesiveness & seriously lack in fundamental basketball skills. The coach has proven he can recruit but lacks developing skills & playing schematic tactical basketball.

We could take them out late in games if we ever actually put teams away. But we can't do that.

Is that why we go under screens against a team we knew would live and die by the 3?

Is that why we dont come back to the basketball after the inbounds plays we have break down?

Is that why we have no fluidity on offense?

Is that why we didnt hedge on ball screens tonight?

I could buy the tired legs angle, but then again - that falls on coaching. If you're giving out scholarships & those guys on the bench cant come in for 2-3 minutes a half to give other guys a break....then why the hell did you recruit them?!?! I thought we wanted to run?!?!? Bring in athletes & turn them loose....ala VCU
