for the 3rd game in a row. like night and day. the problem was addressed and corrected and i'm glad but it sure is weird. how can a unit be so bad for so many games and then, all of a sudden, get good? what got fixed?

lastly, I hate those stupid pooch kickoffs. ok, they had a great returner but we stopped them when we didn't pooch it. giving the opponent great field position automatically seems idiotic to me.

Trying to save his job. Still need to make changes. Dale should be gone.

See Arky, Ole Miss and Bama games for the answer.

And Florida! They had no shot in that game without BDP's help.

We pooch kicked the entire 1st half starting them on the 30-35.

We averaged 35 yards a punt.

We did avg on returns. I mean we do have the absolute worst punting unit in the game statistically so I guess the bar was set kinda low??

Punt Return Defense: 127
Punt Returns: 46
Kick Return Defense: 45
Net Punting: 108
Kickoff Returns: 83

If Peveto isn't fired after this season there is simply no hope that Miles will change anything next year at all.

This is a moronic point to argue. Pooch punts inside the 10 drove the average down, but were great punts.

4th and 6 at LSU 29
(14:05 - 3rd) Jamie Keehn punt for 45 yds, fair catch by Cameron Batson at the TexTc 26

4th and 8 at TTU 39

(8:22 - 2nd) Jamie Keehn punt for 34 yds, downed at the TexTc 5

4th and 2 at LSU 34
Jamie Keehn punt for 37 yds, fair catch by Cameron Batson at the TexTc 29

4th and 3 at TTU 46

(5:16 - 1st) Jamie Keehn punt for 36 yds, fair catch by Cameron Batson at the TexTc 10

So our kicker pooch punts from our own 34?

His avg is 40 yards and you are calling 36 pooch punts?

Is far more likely he kicked for his avg and the field position dictated that the ball would be inside the 20. He wasn't placing the ball inside the 20.
