After watching an admittedly little bit of Auburn's game last week, I think that Marshall is looking decent-but again against Mississipe St.(no offense). Marshall delivers balls that are very floaty and hang longer than they should- I'm thinking we will see a few interceptions- and our corners will shine. Auburn is never a predictable game- but there you have it. I think we win- but by how much and how hard is the question.

No. They'll keep the ball on the ground if the conditions are like they say they are going to be.

We have sucked at interceptions this year. Have you seen how many passes hit these guys right in the hands? We need a playmaker on defense. Last year Reid and Martin were great playmakers. The 2 years before, we had Mathieu, Brooks, and Claiborne. We need some guys to show up and cause some big turnovers this year.

very interested to see how our passing game fares in the rain. If we can be effective in the air in sloppy conditions then I predict we cumbstomp these posers

Marshall threw 20 INTs in 11 games last year in JUCO

Now is the time to pick off some passes.

The new forecast has the game being dry, but the field will be wet.

Can't believe after 3 games we don't have a single pick..unless I'm forgetting.

Its a progression, younger DBs have to focus on the receiver and as you get better you learn to play the ball. If Marshall floats the ball we may get one.

Marshall's not much of a floater... He's more likely to try to gun it in there. He had at least three passes tipped against MSU, one that lead to his only real INT of the season. He's only 6'-ish... So tips from DLs ate going to be a factor.

Because he throws the ball hard, I'm concerned about his throws being difficult to catch given the wet conditions.
