does it count against us still, and just not a win for PSU? Sorry if Volkswagen.
I still wish the field was dry for that game

No "W" in any manner.

If I'm not mistaken the game ball gets shipped to to the LSU Athletic Dept?

I don't think a wet field is a good excuse; but whatever.

Jesus H Christ on a rubber crutch...yes, in principle we still lost that game. Vacating losses is the most assinine idea I've ever heard.

ETA: just noticed you bible thing at the bottom of your post. No offense intended.

I think it was much worse than a wet field and i was there... On even a dry grass field, and we win that game going away

I'd like to reply to your question with a question(s)....

In 2012, does it fricking matter? The day after the game occurred, did it really matter?

We do not get a win, Penn State does not get a win. We get a loss. The real question comes to this: did we lose to Penn State or did we lose to no one?

This is important for Miles' stellar out of conference record. I have yet to hear a true concrete answer to this. Next years football media guide will give us some guidance as to how the university treats this game.

For all of those hating on why does it matter, its 2012, frick you guys, it matters because its LSU football, its a bowl game and history has recently been changed.

Oh yeah, screw those groundskeepers too, that field wasn't barely touched after the previous bowl game the week before.
