"We love being Tigers,” Orgeron said of his family in an interview with “Culotta and the Prince” on WNXX-104.5 ESPN Radio in Baton Rouge. “We always wanted to be here. We feel at home here. We plan to stay here for a long time.”

"As for how he handled conversations about his future with recruits, “You know the best way is to just tell the truth,” he said. “That’s it. Just tell them. Everybody knows where my heart is.”

Right because no coach has EVER said he planned to stay somewhere for a long time then left shortly thereafter.

coaches never lie. That is a proven fact!

You’re overprotective when I’m leaving
Trying to compromise but I can’t win
You want to make a point, but you keep preaching
You had me from the start, won't let this end

I'm glad you showed up here today. There was way too much optimism. We need your wet blanket to put a stop to it.

FWIW i found out through a close family member of Coach O that he is annoyed he wasn't/hasn't been named recruiting coordinator since Wilson left, that he thinks miles runs a very abnormal, mis-structured program, and he will leave when he gets offered the right Power 5 head coach job (pretty much known already)...my source is much better than DALSU haha

If I was in Orgeron's position, I would be mad as well (if what you are saying is the honest truth). First year coach that produced immediate results on the field AND recruiting trail.... Sure hopes he gets that recruiting coordinator title
