The ACC bias is obvious when Miami is ranked lower than most on that list and are hosting, while higher ranked teams like Kentucky, Mississippi State, Arkansas, and Oregon State are 2 seeds on the road.
Can anyone explain that?
I'll try to explain it. 1, rankings don't matter. 2, the more deserving teams don't always host. They factor in things like host sites and whatnot.
Utah Valley, with an RPI rank of #72, won the Great West Conference with a (47-12; 28-0) record, including a victory at Arizona State, but did not receive an at large bid. The Great West does not get an automatic qualifier.
