We need better play from a Left Tackle.

My only concern today and moving forward is finding a left tackle. The two most important positions in football are Quarterback and left tackle.

Continued to underimpress.

Malone looks outmatched out there and Teuhema has no business lining up at OT on either side. I'd love to see Teuhema back at OG next year, he's a bulldozer there.

Our O line is all kinds of terrible.

I wouldn't go that far. But I definitely was disappointed in their play, especially since everyone was as healthy as they have been all year and was ready to go. I was just curious what others thought.

Left side of the line was exposed, again. Needs a significant upgrade.

I thought it was below average.

I think we have re recruited our ol wrong under miles. Who was an OL coach at one time.

With O I think he will let his grimes recruit who he wants and who he thinks will be the best fit at each position.

Pocic and Clapp are steady warhorses
I hope to God Clapp comes back next year.

If there is one thing I can't stand it's seeing a back from LSU laying on the ground after being tackled and a couple of big offensive linemen standing right by him after blocking nobody. BLOCK SOMEBODY!

This line will be dominated by a good defense (Alabama, Florida). I put it on Grimes, we haven't recruited and developed the right players. We have a few good interior pieces, but without a true tackle magically developing this spring, we will be toast against a good D line.

Oline did not do well. The press did not hold up, edge was bad and no holes. Guice is a beast with what he had.

Hopefully, Deculus will be given a legit opportunity right off the bat (for LT).

I must only watch Pocic on his bad plays because that dude looks nothing like a first rounder to me.

Solid D grade...not pretty at all. Grimes needs to be reevaluated to say the least. Anybody know of any good Ol coaches would be interested here if they do can Grimes?

"spotty" is the best I can come up with.

Seems like every play someone is getting beat badly. I know that's not the case, but that's impression created. Never all of 'em, but one of 'em... enough that there's always a chance it gets blowed up.

Agreed, LT HAS to improve. Overall, I was actually impressed with pass protection in this game. Much of it is WRs are finally helping (but getting off line clean(er) and adjusting routes).

The offensive line did get beat at times throughout the game. What is more alarming is the lack of communication and failure to pick up simple blitz/stunts. Also, they did OK on combo blocks at point of attack but rarely worked up to the second level… that's why there always seemed to be a linebacker sitting in the hole. Those things points more to Grimes then the O line.

Tuehema, Clapp, and Dodd need to be on the inside of the OL next year. The two tackle spots should be open.
