Snuck in my own grub to avoid lines....as did ppl with me. A little cool in there but otherwise great atmosphere in there. Felt like home game every time.

MMP uses MLB security guidelinesfor all events. This means everyone goes through a metal detector. Problem was the crowds were bigger what they expected and they only had very few entrance points. This ment long lines to go through security.

I didn't go to any other games but LSU but seemed like we had way more fans than anyone (not surprised).

The atmosphere was great for the most part saturday with the roof open. Even had birdman doing his thing. Besides the LSU fan in front of me heckling the Baylor pitcher and the rowdy kids behind me, I had a great time

And I sort of want to address my ire at former owner Drayton McLane, who should have made sure there was heat in the place when it was built.

just like you've been conditioned to. crane and co.s campaign to malign mr. McLane has worked with some people. you just can't accept crane doesn't know what the hell he's doing. having the first pick of the draft for half a decade may pull him out (IF he's actually learning something) but so far I ain't buying his mishandling of the " forced move" to the AL and all of the changes he's instilled.

but the park is a fine place to watch baseball. thank god crane wasn't here to screw it up.

It was a great weekend; first trip to MMP. They ran out of most concessions Friday night and there weren't enough entrances/exits opened, but really didn't mind. Good baseball & Tiger wins make up for alot.

It's a great event. I've been the last 3 years, and it gets better every year. This year was definitely the best attended of any of the classics I've been to. Heck, it was better attended than pretty much any Astros game I've been to outside of them playing the rangers.

Huh? MMP used to be packed to the rafters literally every single night before the Astros nosedived

So what like 2008? I've only lived in Houston about 4 years, so those days were gone by the time I was living here and going to games pretty regularly.

We live in Houston so were excited to be able to attend all three games. Only issue we encountered were some very rude Aggie fans but I just considered the source. I do think they underestimated how well Tiger fans travel. Overall we had a great time.

My first minute maid and LSU baseball in person experience. Watched all three games with parents, wife and sister.. Loved it. Parking and traffic was a challenge. Lot b and c was closed for soccer game saturday. One bathroom was out of service Saturday, plumbing plugged. Hope they schedule this again.

I sat on 3rd base side like a noob Friday night, so it was probably 50-50 LSU/UH fans. Got to see some UH fans nearly get in an internal scuffle. I think it involved some young douches cussing in front of kids and some uptight middle aged guy taking offense to it. It was entertaining.

GOing into the stadium was like boarding a plane headed for an international flight, but overall I LOVED it. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the games were terrific. The alcohol, of course, is still too expensive.

Was a great time, but I bet there'd be a bigger a turnout if they didn't do it at the same time as the Houston Rodeo.

Texas and Rice? not sure there are many better possible fields than the one they had this weekend...

if i did the scheduling i'd go to this whatever years A&M comes to the Box, so Houston Tiger fans always have a series to go to

Some friends and I went to all three games, had great seats and a lot of fun. We stayed at the Westin right there at the stadium. It was cold on Saturday, I knew and wore a coat. Great venue, I think the Tigers got special treatment in the scheduling, but they deserved it, I bet 50-60% of paying customers were Tiger fans. I think Maneri said they were scheduled to be somewhere else this time next year, maybe do it every other year.
