Everyone is saying we should be able to just run all over them. In past years, we had the O line to man up and push them off the ball and they were not built physcially to overcome this (think 2014 game). This year we seem to do better running wide which OM defense may be more suited for. Anyone else think this?

I haven't watched them much on defense. Just know our secondary better play lights out

I’d be more concerned about defending that offense.

Ball Control will be what's needed to win this game

I feel good about dbu. Would be more concerned if they had a physical running game. Aranda will have the boys ready. Look for plenty of guice and jet sweep them to death. They lost 2 d-linemen for the year this week.

Living in Mississippi I have been constantly exposed to them. They have always seemed to be a team that has to play with emotion to win and has never had the physical tools to just man up and play. That said, they can be very streaky....Beat Bama and then lose to Vandy, Beat Florida (at the Swamp) and lose to MSU. (I know, we lost to Troy). I am just saying that their emotion will dictate this game.

all we are going to do is jet sweep.

Ball security is key, we can't afford to turn it over

Although true, Guice is looking stronger each week and the OL is starting to open better holes.

They always play LSU tough. I’m expecting a difficult game.

I'm not sure you should be worried about the offense so much as the defense in this one. We struggled to get pressure against Auburn but were able to hold up on the back end. Ole Miss is a pass happy team. With so many young DBs I'm more worried about blown assignments with a lack of pressure. I'm not sure we can win any game in a shoot out. Let's just hope the young DBs hold down their assignments.

ETA: Struggled to get pressure with only 4**

Exactly. I'm worried about the Ole Miss passing game carving us up like a Thanksgiving turkey. If Patterson has all day to throw he will make us pay dearly.

Defending against Shea Patterson and the chance of LSU taking them lightly are my two biggest concerns. I'm hoping we can eat up a lot of clock by running it on them. Ole Miss is supposedly susceptible against the run.

Definitely. The best defense against Patterson is keeping him and the Ole Miss offense off the field for most of the game.

They will be prepared to kick booty. Tigers need to be ready..mentally and physically.
