One difference I've noticed between Les and other coaches

If you look at Les' interviews as compared to some other coaches who have been having success, he seems so disconnected with what's going on around him. When I listen to Malzahn and Hugh Freeze talk to reporters, and that speech Dan Mullen gave in the locker room yesterday, you get the feeling that those guys have something to prove and that they have goals for right here and now that they're ready to go after. I'm not even talking about Les' goofy phrases that he spits out, but the way he never really says anything in particular and seems to have the same generic, absent-minded attitude towards every opponent and every game. It makes me wonder how that may be translating to the players' performance. Now I know Les is known for having strong relationships with his players, and I have no idea what goes on on the practice field/locker room, but these are young college kids with racing emotions and I see the coaches who are tapped into that emotion with a scrappy attitude having the most success lately.

The man doesn't even know all the rules to a game he's paid 5 mill to coach, it's safe to say his brain is off in la la land

In the Tennessee game in 2005 he tried to call a timeout after an interception, not realizing that the clock stops on a change of possession. Bo Pelini had to run down the sidelines and tackle him to keep him from wasting LSU's last timeout of the half.
In 2014 he tells the media that he couldn't call a timeout with 10 seconds left in the half because the chains were being moved.
Ten seasons at LSU and he still can't be trusted to call timeouts correctly. You can't fix stupid.

That quote should be a cause enough to fire the idiot. Saying that clearly tells the world he is a clueless buffoon.

Great, so he gets time to consult others in an effort to lie his way past it like some politician. Yay. Moron must have finally misplaced his magic lamp.

How can young QBs not be lost when their head coach is a zombie?
