Did I hear correctly when they mentioned that LSU would play game #1 if they were to win?

That would be nice since I already have tickets for that game. I doubt they already know though.

Looking at the bracket setup it looks like Arky/(probably) Fullerton would have the afternoon game and LSU/Rice would play OM/UVA that evening

I was just fixing to ask that very same question. I read the brackets as the top bracket would be the first game and the bottom bracket would be the second game. That would be best for me, so I won't have to fly in to KC at 6 am from N.O. and then drive 3 hours to Omaha. If we do play early, I will be there.

Radio broadcast said that if LSU wins (which NOW they have!) they would play on Sunday. Don't know if it's accurate ... it was Jim.

It's definitely Saturday. Friday starting supers play next Saturday... Saturday starting supers play next Sunday.
