That's great stuff. Did an internship there in '07. The team wasn't there that year, but there were still a ton of LSU fans. One of my regular bars, Barry O's, didn't have any sports paraphernalia except a big LSU baseball flag across the bar. It's a pretty awesome relationship between the city and the school/team/fans.

We did the big tailgate near the police mobile HQ every year at Rosenblatt. We still get calls every year from the sheriff's department asking if we're bringing up Crawfish and how much they should pitch in

Can't be Omaha. There's no road construction.

We will have redfish, trout, étouffée, beignets, boudin, and much more. I have no idea how much but it's going to be a lot of good eats.

much rather the vibe of the old park. more tailgating and better parking...downtown = concrete jungle

Just wondering. I was pretty disappointed with the tailgating setup a few years ago. I loved the beer garden across the street though. I spent way too much money there

It's not the same as rosenblatt, that's for sure. Most tiger fans are a little further from us because we have friends that throw a tailgate in one of the paid lots.

I hate the way the stadium plays but it's still a great place to watch a game. The stadium is very nice, they just built it facing the wrong way and put the fences out to far.

Another thing the stadium is in a great part of town. They kinda have a version of the French Quarter many good restaurants about a 10 15 min walk from the stadium

You have clearly never been.

The fans love LSU just like the businesses do. Even when LSU isn't there, Omaha people are wearing LSU colors and even flying flags.

While I really can't go, I am gonna try and make it. If we make the championship series, it's gonna take an act of God to keep me away.
