1. They are playing a far superior opponent than Notre Dame with a chip on their shoulder

2. In recent history, they are not on the same level as LSU. Facilities-wise, salary-wise, recruit-wise (outside of one fluke year), and performance-wise (generally speaking)

3. Their coaches aren't bailing on them after the game over a pissing match with their AD.

And to think, we actually rushed the field after beating that team.

Pathetic.

Okay, I'll be sure to let the players know this is how you feel.

Ole Miss being blown out.

TCU making an argument against a 4 team playoff for a bigger one. good day for college football and LSU fans.

Notre Dame is a good team. Can you people try to learn that? they have a good coach and tons of talent.

This. I was worried all along that we would be getting the team that should have beaten FSU on the road, and not the team that got blown out by ASU. I think they sort of tanked it after they got screwed in Tallahassee.

They had a backup quarterback starting, an injury-depleted defense, and came in with a 4 game losing streak.

LSU should have won this game by at least 14.

It doesn't. But a last second loss on a field goal is not near as embarrassing as this Ole Miss debacle.

ND is pretty good, but nowhere near LSU in terms of talent and athleticism. We should've won easily.

the TCU-Ole Miss game was over before it started. TCU was pissed as hell about being left out of the playoff. They played with much more intensity from the opening kickoff. So this was predictable.

On a tangent, how did the announcers not see immediately that Laremy Tunsil's leg was turned the wrong direction? I saw it clearly when they showed him laying on the ground. Definitely a complete break of the lower leg bones.

I thought we would win by 14 to 21 points. But the defense didn't show up and we got robbed of a touchdown at the end of the first half. It sucks but these things happen some times. Time to get ready for 2015.
