Assuming they are all still open, if you don't want to pay that check out Funky's, rooster's, the ribcage, or Irie

Library is a cool bar and huge but has $25 cover on game weekends.

Not worth it.

Pretty sure all of their covers are 20 minimum when LSU rolls into town

I've never paid more than $5-$10 at the other ones. Library will be 25 though, seems like I remember they give you pretty strong drinks in bigger than average size cups if I remember correctly

Old Mississippi played their home games in Jackson until the mid-1990s?

I've been plenty of times but nothing tops the 2003 game. One of the best games I've been to. After the pick 6 on the first drive that place was nuts. When Eli tripped at the end it broke their fricking hearts.

"treated awfully each time, completely unprovoked. "Don't act like an arse and you won't get treated like one" did not hold true for me or the small group I went with at all, on any visit."

This is Fact. Its unbelievable how much they hate us. Every age race and sex shows the hate non-stop your entire trip. Grove is a catered affair that pales in comparison to anything you thought it woud be. Never again for me

Lots of douches. My experience can be summed up as such:

OM fan "Go to hell you coonass!"
Me "I'm from Charleston"
OM fan "Oh....."
Me "Dumb redneck"

The Grove is entirely too congested. If you have a good spot where you don't HAVE to move around, it makes it a lot better. Parking sucks. That is typically to be expected though. No loud music, no open grilling (which basically means no fresh food), and the drinking policy is shite. Just want I want to do to some good beers I bought...pour them in a styrofoam or plastic cup!

Agreed. Went to the game against them 2-3 years ago, and they were dicks.

I went down there to see vandy beat them in 2008 and no one said a thing to me. I agree they reserve a severe enmity and jealousy of lsu's success.

I like Oxford as a college town but the ole miss game day experience is overrated as has been said. Crap food and a bunch of clowns dressed like colonel sanders. The partying in then grove is nothing that special and it's very cramped.I had a good time out at the Square but the Library is ridiculously overpriced on game day so ole miss fans can pretend they're wealthy southern elite while drinking five dollar budweisers.

My buddies and I had to walk my parents back to their car after the 2013 game. Had so many obnoxious fans get in our face looking to instigate a fight. There was one blimpish frat star who got in my face and I told him the only thing he wasn't beating tonight was Diabetes. I'm pretty sure I ruined his night.

I can only imagine how obnoxious they'll be looking for revenge.

This will be my first trip to Ole miss. Seems like a lot of people saying parking sucks. Does anyone have a good parking map on which lots you can park in without a pass, whether it's free or pay?

parking on campus without a pass is damn near impossible, but I find that I can park off campus and still don't have to walk as far as most at an LSU home game...

I typically come in on hwy 6 and take the taylor rd exit to the south....almost immediately, there will be some lawyers offices there that will let you park for about ten bucks....easy to get out after the game, too....

I went in '11 and they were beaten before it started. We parked by the gates and walked down the street with all of the frats. Zero said. Walking around The Grove I got 2 Hotty Toddy's. One lady just said, "Why did you waste your money driving up here? You could have stayed home for this arse whooping. No way will this be a good game." Honestly I was disappointed with the Grove.
