Everyone knows the deal with Miles. Old-fashioned..not gonna change etc...so, HOW does he recruit so well? How does he get an elite WR like Dupree to sign? And that goes for others. The kids saw the Bama game...saw the Ark game...saw Ole Miss game & still sign. I'm glad they do but how does he do it?

He'll get you paid when you're done.

And kids don't go to schools strictly because of wins and losses.

We churn out NFL players, and while this may be changing, leaving early has been a recruiting selling point.

because in the NFL you run more than bubble screens which is what most of the spread offenses base their passing game around.

He wins, the players obviously love him, there isn't another power 5 school in Louisiana, one of the top 3-5 states in the country to recruit out of, and LSU has the most players on roster in the NFL.

Because LSU is a contender and an awesome team to be a part of. You're just as well off asking "why does anyone do anything?"

Next question.

The offense is known to get WRs ready but the truth is most of us are wondering how we continue pulling in the WRs year after year. I'm sure glad we do thou

Because when these guys get the the next level they already have a full route tree (most spread receivers don't). they didn't get most of their yards starting behind the LOS (lots of spread receivers do). and play against defenses loaded with NFL talent week in and out.

Plus our QB situation is on the rise.

This has literally nothing to do with the point I'm trying to make. But OK.

1. Bama can only sign 25 players.
2. Many of these kids are LA grown and dream of playing for LSU.
3. If you assume for sake of argument that Bama is #1 then who is your #2 - for most kids around here its LSU #1 or #2 and Bama aint an option.
4. Texas schools are not much recruiting competition right now.
5. Lack of an "outside the SEC" recruiting threat. FSU is about the only one.
6. LSU has the #1 NFL development track record for last 10 yrs.
7. LSU facilities are pretty damn good, maybe not top but up there with the best in the country.
8. Maybe the players actually like the guy.

... and I forgot to put the most important one! Saturday Night in Death Valley is tops in CFB!

Do you really care if they go pro? Wouldnt you rather see these players lead us to a NC?
I would hope we bring these players here to help LSU win...and if they happen to go pro...gravy!

A little. It's fun to watch players I liked at LSU do well in the pro's.

Absolutely.

Again... nothing you're saying has anything to do with the point I'm trying to make. Read the OP, read my post and get back to me.

It's like it angers people that les miles signs talented players because he doesn't run the offense that YOU want him to run

Holy shite. Do some of you actually watch the damn games? It's funny that you bring up those 3 games, and then question why receivers come here. We threw the damn ball 105 times in those 3 games. 105. And that's how many time we actually passed it, and didn't get sacked, have no one open and had to scramble, etc.

I swear, if folks would actually make reasonable arguments, this board would be so much better for it. But instead, we throw out shite like "we only run up the middle", "we run 95% of the time", "we only pass on third down".

For fricks sake.

3 left, 3 came in. That's how, LSU had room. Dural is gone, Dupree may leave early as well. So basically the position is up for grabs again in 2017. And I'm sure the 3 that signed know this.

Been saying this for a while. They don't watch the games. People read one thing on here and repeat it as fact.

Like the, Harris will never start because Miles always goes with seniority. Just ignore the fact that Jefferson was the younger of he and Lee.
