There was only one team in America that could have beaten LSU in 2011. And they did so in a rematch.

With a really good defense. Didn't know Okla. St. had one of those that season.

You realize we beat Georgia by 30 in that game, right?

As for Gundy, he's a bitchmade pussy. He wouldn't stand up for his team in 2011, but he has no problem running his mouth 4 years later?

With Jordan Jefferson starting it is a fair comment by Mike Gundy.

Everyone always points to 21-0 but do not forget LSU did not get their first 1st down of the game in the SEC championship until the 3rd quarter. Jefferson was 5-13, 30 yards passing vs Georgia. Played the entire game despite struggling big time.

LSU was a sinking ship with Jefferson. LSU would have lost vs Oklahoma State.

LSU wouldn't have lost because a) they would have actually been up for the game, and b) Les is magic against OOC (shut up ND).

Maybe he should have spoken up the days leading up to the BCS poll.

Too bad they couldn't beat a team that finished under .500. Thanks for the lulz, Mike

Mike Gundy is clueless, we would have held them to 17 at their best and their defense couldn't stop a nose bleed. JJ on his worst day would have put up 28 on those kids. and I hate JJ.

First of all, LSU may not have had to throw 10 passes the whole game. We would have had over 40 minutes time of possession easily.
Okla State would not have had enough chances to score on LSU.
I don't recall Gundy being this cocky in December 2011 and sticking up for his team's SOS and conference championship (both of which they had over Bama in the BCS Calculations). He was alamost conceding that Alabama should be in. It was absolutely sickening.

Just adding my .02, they couldn't score 3 TD's on that D.

and they lost to Iowa St. Says enough right there.

There is no way in Hell they would've beaten us in that game. We would've had all the time to come up w a gameplan and they wouldn't have a clue on how to beat us.

I maintain the belief that if we had 2 weeks to prepare for a 3rd game vs Bama and was played in TS to settle the series we would have beaten Bama.

Ok st would score points, maybe even 21 w a garbage score at the end of the game, but they would've been crushed by our 2011 team. Our secondary was unreal.

Yep this is just salt in the wound. Bama is the one team that could hang with LSU and they got em the second time easily. Both LSU and Bama would likely have skulldrug OKie state.

LSU would've annihilated OK st that year. It doesn't matter that Jefferson was LSU's QB, because all LSU had to do was run the football and they would be powerless to stop it. If you watched OK states bowl game they couldn't stop Stanford's running game, they were a soft team that year. Gundy's lucky that Stanford had a freshmen kicker that choked that game, otherwise he wouldn't be able to be saying this now.

Probably not. And that Sieve they called a defense would have been overwhelmed by the Tiger rushing attack and play-action to Randle and OBJ. Nice troll job by Gundy, though.
