My conference has been raided again. No other conference wants us. We will lose our BCS bid in 4, 3, 2, 1....
Please talk me in off the ledge. I can't take it anymore(sobbing uncontrollably).
I just want to wake up tomorrow and find that we've been invited to a major conference, prices of Moonpies have fallen, my car is off blocks, my sister still thinks I'm hot, and Jesco has moved out of my trailer.
I'm begging you for some words of encouragement. I know I can count on you.

your team needs to step up starting saturday night. then show the big east what they will be missing by tearing through ur big east schedule and getting the bcs auto bid.

Sunday morning won't be so bad , you will wake up with a hangover, still no conference, another defeat to a top team, and your hot sister will finally break up with you cause she left with me Saturday night. Do you burn couches for losses too?

You are most assuredly overreacting. You need look no further than the Big 10(11,12?) conference just to your west. They have demonstrated a willingness--indeed a fondness--for adopting teams whose homes were burning down around them (see, in this regard, Husker U) and even teams long without a home conference (see, in this regard, Paterno State University). And WVU has just the right credential set. As with Nebraska and Penn State, you are located in an isolated geographic area populated by simple, backward, hard-working folks of European heritage. And as with the more successful of its long-time members, you have a football history rich with the inability to compete against middle-of-the pack SEC teams, notwithstanding your dominance over teams from your own conference. So take heart and follow the exhortation of the famous Horace Greely--"Go Midwest, young man, go Midwest." You'll become a Legend, if not a Leader.

No way Big Ten takes WVU. The school presidents made a fuss when Nebraska lost AAU membership upon arrival. Compared to Big Ten schools, WVU can't spell AAU.
