Does anyone know what the official NCAA or SEC rule is regarding game cancellation if only one team wants the game cancelled?

I was curious about this as well. What if it had favored LSU to cancel.
What if UF was ready to go and LSU had said we don't feel safe traveling there and there was no way possible for us to do so.
Would it have been postponed or cancelled if the away team decided not to show?

I don't think the rule would apply in this case. Neither team (openly) wants to "cancel" this game. They just can't agree on when and where to play it.

this is irrelevant. Florida didn't cancel the game. They got the SEC Commissioner to do it.

If the commissioner canceled it then let's pressure him to reschedule for Sunday or Monday. If UF refuses, then they forfeit.

I think this is the official rule..
"A forfeit occurs only when a game is not played because of the failure or refusal of one team to participate. In that event, the other team, if ready and willing to play, is the winner by a score of 2-0."
Pulled from a thread last night..
