I have Cox in BR. Is there any way to watch the Astros?

It looks like the Astros are only on Root and not FoxSW.

Do I need to buy the MLB package?

MLB has one of the worst blackout packages available.

Cox carry's Texas Rangers Game... Astros are on the Root network (rebranded under the AT&T name as AT&T Sports Networks.) but still lacks airing games in the Baton Rouge area.

I don't think I need to inform anyone how bad of a cable provider Cox's is.

Direct TV and ATT U Verse carry Root Sports among others. Cox which is the big majority TV provider in BR does not. It's not about the Astros not being available in Baton Rouge, it's your TV provider does not offer Root Sports.

Hey everyone, I know Nick Rumbelow. We live in the same apartment complex and had cook outs and still talk at least once a week. I have even caught a bp of his. All this is true and had nothing to do wit this thread, much like the two guys in a dick measuring contest over who knows breg more. Can we all please get back on topic.

Congrats breg. You made everyone proud with your hard work from day 1 at lsu, till your call up. Have fun and enjoy your day.

Bregman got in to Houston last night and went to Correa's house for a cook out and some pool. (Also pictured is young stud pitcher Lance McCullers for anyone that may not know)

this going to be on root sports? if so F cox for not picking it up. It sucks being an Astros fan in their market area, if you have Cox, or Dish basically no way to watch the game without going to a bar. I have MLB.tv but being in baton rouge makes it impossible for me to watch stros games.

I really don't understand the MLB blackout rules. I would totally subscribe and pay to get the Astros games, but it's blacked out in BR, and you can't get the games even if you want to pay. I have Cox so I'm SOL... I'll have to find a bar to catch Bregman

I got MLB.tv for the Cleveland Indians and to keep track of some LSU players like Nola. For a baseball nut like me I could watch baseball all day if I wanted to, but usually, I'm too busy. It's going to be real fun near the end of the season.

MLB.tv is great completely worth the money you pay for it, unless you are a fan who only follows your local team.
