A 19 year old who has the physical makeup of a 25-30 year old grown man is a compliment to Mike and his stature at such a young age.

Hell no! He's talking about when I made that prediction about Sciv last year. He had a terrible fall. PM even stated Pap would get at least a third of the starts behind the plate to start the year. Sciv GOATed and was great defensively and one of our most consistent hitters.

Backups look different than starters. It's so obvious to us scouts who know what to look for.

Do you think Krob can bat over .220 this year?

All people said last year was that his defense was too good. And with our returning hitting, all he should need is to hit 0.250 to stay in the lineup. He hit 0.232 (13 for 56). If he had just one more hit, his average would have been... Drum roll.... 0.250.

Things just got too crowded offensively. Sciv, Chi, and Foster all had excellent years. And you weren't keeping Hale and Bregman off the field.

I'm not disagreeing. I'm just trying to figure out how a backup looks different than the starter physically. Are you saying he looks like Henry Blanco?

I guess that's my poor use of an analogy Had I said "Mike looks like an MLB starting catcher now" people would be losing there mind at that tidbit.

He does looks like Henry Blanco...but only after half a fifth of jager
