1. Josh Reed 3,001
2. Wendell Davis 2,708
3. Eric Martin 2,625
4. Michael Clayton 2,582
5. Brandon Lafell 2,517
6. Dwayne Bowe 2,403
7. Odell Beckham 2,197
8. Tony Moss 2,196
9. Buster Davis 2,107
10. Early Doucet 2,046

It seems like he will probably end up right around the Bowe/Lafell neighbourhood in terms of yardage by year's end.

Four reg season games left and he averages 100 a game so 400 + whatever in the bowl game. He looks like he could jump to the sixth spot, but he has a chance for the 4th.

He may burn Furman early and get on the right track. Odell had a nice game last year against bama. Some pretty tough games, but we will need to throw the ball around pretty well against bama and a&m. He should have an opportunity to keep his average at or above 100 yards.

Damn. I never realized how high Bradon Lafell was on that list.

And he did this in 3. He was a monster. Toward the end of the 01 season, he was virtually uncoverable.

With the QB situation and how much Mett has improved this year he's already one of the best we've seen. I think his stats could of been better all things considered. Great hands and great route running, love the way he comes back for the ball and goes up to get it at its highest point. I think he has a great future in front of him. He's going to be hard to replace.

Reed pretty much did that in 2 years. And yeah, Lafell was very productive.....2nd all time in tds 1 behind bowe. Clayton would have crushed all of these records if he returned.

It's possible Beckham and Landry could end up #2 and #3 for single season receiving this year. The mark is 1244 so they are both about 450 yards away.

As said, it was more like 2 with just a few games his freshman year

And Lafell played a good portion of his entire 4 years so not too surprising that he's up there

This Furman game will be an air assault. Mett needs his confidence back and the timing needs to be reassured. Jarvis and Odell should have really big games. 100+ yards each.

Odell has been an awesome receiver for LSU. He has had his ups and downs but has improved each year of play AT THE WR POSITION.

Once D. Bowe got his eyes fixed he was

If he had good eyes his first year he would have been 2 or 3 on that list.

No it won't. Bama and aTm are going to be games that miles tries to keep the opposing offense off the field. Since the UGA game he's turned the dial back a lot because he thinks that we can't just out score people.

I wish he would step up for Carolina. So much potential to be a star and he drops passes...
