From the sounds of it, many people plan to buy tickets who don't usually attend games.

I'm guessing if the sales go well this evening they'll open up an upper deck.

You can bet that lousy "paciolan" system will fold. Don't understand why the ath. dept. does not work something out "in-house" with our excellent computer science dept. Makes NO sense to not utilize all the on campus talent !

I just want my pair of tickets in the lower south EZ so the sun won't blind me 3/4 of the game.

It's the perfect opportunity for non season ticket holders to get seats to watch the Heisman frontrunner they would never have before

You can go tailgating and find tickets for face value and under just about any football weekend excluding Bama.

Most people don't want to deal with doing that.

I would never go out there without tickets in hand.

People don't understand how different this is. People don't have "spares" or are just out tailgating with no plans to go in with tickets already in hand ready to give away.

People are buying outright for two purposes:

1) to go to the game
2) to resell for profit

Very few people may have bought thinking they might go and then don't, but that's very very few.

Does anyone with a season ticket account know what the availability looks like right now? Are there still good lower bowl seats available for purchase?

PLENTY of seats left. East sideline wide open. West sideline has around 100. NEZ and SEZ you can choose anywhere you like. Most sections in the endzones are less than 40% full.

so you're saying i can pick my spot in the lower SEZ?

what is the ideal row to be on in there? only sat there once with a WVU visitor ticket.

I want no sun if possible.

That's cool, I was commenting on the guy who said people can now afford these tickets since they will be at face value. If money is that much of a concern just go and find some for face or less any game of the year. I have never had a problem. I'm cheap, I will sacrifice 10 minutes to save 30 bucks.

I sat in 403 for the Auburn game. I was in the last row so under the overhang with no sun. I would go a couple rows down from there, though, so you can see the Jumbotron in the NEZ for replays.

407 to 409 will be in the shade. Especially rows 25 and up.
